The above statement is awesome.
As soon as you take on board it s message, and act on it,
it empowers you.
For anyone wanting to improve fitness, lose bodyfat, and
feel healthier the first step is always to develop a
belief about where you are going and keep this in your mind.
You need to think about it daily.
This belief can then develop into achievement.
It is unlikely that a person would consistently achieve
any goals if they didn t first believe in them.
Think about this.
It may help you to achieve your fitness and health
challenges.
Normally people focus on specific exercises, machines,
diets and suchlike from the outset.
They often, in my experience, focus on accumulating
information and then attempt to apply it all at once.
Ultimately they quit.
The first item on the agenda, so to speak, that I think is
CRITICAL is getting a person to first identify exactly what
they desire and then asking them whether they believe totally
in their committment to achieve it.
Many people fall at this first hurdle.
There are lots of ways to develop belief in oneself in order
to achieve fitness goals.
Deep breathing exercises can be used to open up a portal in
the mind whereby the person enjoys five minutes a day seeing
themselves achieving their physical objective and
experiencing the feelings associated with this success.
In fact some deep breathing exercises can be dynamic in
nature so you can start to get in shape WHILE holding onto
an image of the new you.
Below is a simple exercise you can try to develop belief
and enthusiasm about your own fitness goal that will
also get you fitter and healthier at the same time!
1. From standing soften your knees and let your hands
hang by your side.
2. Bring into your mind the image you have of yourself
that is how you WANT to look.
3. Having held this image for a short amount of time
now we are going to bring it to life and work our
core muscles at the same time.
4. Take a deep breath in and hold it for a second
in your belly.
5. From this position, as you exhale, begin to squeeze
your abdominals and purposefully breathe the air
out through pursed lips.
6. Imagine this powerful breath is filling your goal
with lifeforce. Feel the energy develop that will
help you achieve this goal.
7. Repeat ten times working powerful exhalations with
the abdominal squeeze while holding this image of
success in your head.
8. Don t be shocked to work up a bit of a sweat
while doing this one. Also, don t squeeze your
abdominals with 100% force!
